Abstract:

This paper discusses the benefits and challenges of using real world projects as a learning experience in
college classes. Specific strategies and tips are shared for maximizing the likelihood of success of the
project for both students and the client firm. Particular emphasis is placed on using strength assessments
to assign student roles in the project.
