Abstract:
The use and abundance of mobile devices in the workforce, both company issued and personally owned
has exploded worldwide. The propagation of the smartphone has led companies to consider how
conducting mobile or m-business can improve their organization by increasing the productivity and
efficiency of the workforce. This paper will explore and compare the current usage of smartphones in
United States and Chinese businesses, the advantages and disadvantages of mobile learning and mobile
business and the manager’s part in overseeing their use by employees while understanding the security
risks of the devices and protecting company data.
