Abstract:
This research hypothesizes that automated collection, storage, and retrieval of information related to the
human resource element in any organization helps to make more informed, lasting decisions about
positioning, utilization, and retention of its human resources which aids the organization in its
competitive efforts. A large-scale household appliance manufacturer that implemented an automated
process for its human resource information gathering and now relies on a completely computerized
storage, retrieval, and utilization of the human resource-related data was surveyed.
