Abstract:
Today we are being overcome with enormous amounts of information coming at internet speed. There is
plenty of content but little help in making good decisions. Imagine being able to monitor your critical
concerns using only a single desktop computer screen. Your typical worker, who uses technology and
information within the context of his or her job, spends more than 40 percent of their day processing
work-related information. Today’s intranets and supporting software has the capability to delete
irrelevant content and add important context information.
